in the NY area. I will only list free ISPs that does not require software to connect,
this all this list contains ISPs that work with all operating systems that support
dial-up authentications cuch as CHAP.
In New York City, MetConnect offers free
56k dial-up service. No banners, no ads, nothing. They only have one dial in number
so it may be busy at times.
Blue Frog Internet also offers free dial-
up service in the New York area. They have access numbers in quite a few New York
counties, however, none in the New York City area. Blue Frog has access numbers
located in area codes 315, 607, and 716.
